in einem artikel der NYT online wird das team rund um popfly gelobt, es bringe frischen schwung in die dev prozesse bei microsoft, unter anderem erfahre ich das popfly um die 100000 user haben soll, was nicht schlecht, aber nicht wirklich überragend ist. abgesehen von den ganzen karteileichen (wie mir..) die sich einmal angemeldet haben und schnell ihr flickr mashup zusammengeklickt haben…

um zu wachsen scheitert es meines erachtens an dem must-install für silverlight. genau in die ecke, wo wir mit popfly hinwollen, mag niemand silverlight installieren. aber ohne silverlight gibts in popfly kein gar nichts …… :/
tim o’reilly unterstellt microsoft gleich mal das popfly eh nur für den push von silverlight rausgebracht wurde

ich sag .. give it a try – dann kannst du dir selbst ein bild machen ob es mehr sinn hat als nur silverlight zu verteilen. es sind keine dev fähigkeiten nötig, wie bei yahoo pipes oder google. advaned web user schaffen das auch – zumindest die einfachen dinge ;)
